Children of Men

Children of Men is Alfonso Cuarón's 2006 vision of a 2027 Britain sliding into ruin, photographed by Emmanuel Lubezki in a relentlessly desaturated gray-blue-green key. The world is grimy graphite and smoke-silver London — soot, ash, and rain-streaked concrete under sickly fluorescent light.

This design system distills that cyan-gray hopelessness into an interface language: dark soot-green grounds, smoke-silver primaries, condensed industrial grotesques on distressed transit signage, documentary grain, and the cold institutional iconography of checkpoints and refugee cages.
