Chess Tournament

Chess Tournament is a monochrome editorial system drawn from the printed bulletins of early-20th-century international chess: the standardized Staunton set, ruled move-lists in algebraic and descriptive notation, and the eternal black-and-white board. It is read deliberately from the dark "black" side — warm boxwood-cream pieces and period serif type glow against ebonised ebony, never the other way around. Quiet, symmetric, and intellectual.

「国际象棋赛事」是一套从二十世纪初国际象棋赛事公报中提炼出的单色编排系统： 标准斯汤顿棋组、用代数与描述记谱法排成的招法表、永恒的黑白棋盘。它刻意从棋盘的 「黑方」一侧来阅读——温润的黄杨木乳白棋子与时代衬线字体，在乌木染黑的深色背景上 静静发光，而非反过来。整体安静、对称、充满思辨气质，像一本被反复翻阅的对局集。
