Channapatna Lacquered Toys

Channapatna lacquered toys are GI-tagged lac-turnery from Ramanagara, Karnataka, where kharadi artisans lathe-turn soft ivory-wood and fuse glossy coloured lac to the spinning form by friction. Every hue is a natural vegetable dye — turmeric yellow, indigo blue, annatto red-orange, katha brown — sealed under a high-gloss lacquer sheen.

This design system translates that craft into the screen: a deep glossy cherry-red lac ground, concentric colour-bands of turmeric and indigo, rounded full-radius forms, and warm, friendly rounded display type that carries the playful spirit of stacked turned toys.

钱纳帕特纳漆木玩具来自印度卡纳塔克邦拉马纳加拉地区，是获得地理标志认证的车木漆器工艺。卡拉迪工匠在车床上旋削柔软的象牙木，借摩擦生热将彩色天然漆熔附于旋转的木坯之上。所有色彩皆取自植物染料——姜黄黄、靛蓝、胭脂橙红、儿茶棕——并封于高光泽的漆面之下。

本设计系统将这一工艺转译为数字语言：深邃光亮的樱桃红漆底、姜黄与靛蓝的同心色环、圆润的全圆角造型，以及温暖友好的圆体显示字体，承续层叠车木玩具那份俏皮活泼的气质。
