About Candy Crush (2012)
Candy Crush is King's sugar-rush interface language: glossy jelly-bright candy tiles cascading down a striped pink board, every surface bulging with specular highlights and drop shadows thick enough to wobble. Fat rounded lettering, radial gradients like hard candy under studio lights, diagonal peppermint stripes, and a pink-on-pink world where every button begs to be tapped. It is unapologetically saccharine, dimensional, and loud — the visual equivalent of a slot machine made of gumdrops, whispering "one more move."
