Bashkir Honeycomb Felt Ornament

ProMax

Bashkir felt ornament is кошма (koshma) — thick pressed sheep-wool sheets, cut and inlaid into geometric mosaics. A deep umber-brown ground carries cool blue-and-white honeycomb symmetry and angular ram's-horn (кускар / koshkar-muyiz) hooks, the zoomorphic signature of the southern Ural steppe.

This system renders that craft in digital form: a matte umber felt page, raw undyed off-white wool as the light tone (never cream), cool saturated blue inlay, and a single red accent. Motifs stay bold and blocky, the surface coarse and pressed — never glossy, never thin.
