Azerbaijani Quba Carpet

The Quba and Shirvan knotted-pile carpets of pre-1900 Azerbaijan are built on a deep madder-red wool field — a saturated knotted ground that carries stepped diamond medallions, indigo botehs, and ivory latch-hook borders. Every color is a natural dye: madder-root red, indigo blue, undyed ivory wool, weld gold, and forest green, all held together by dark outlining.

This design system translates that woven density into the screen. The page itself is the dark madder field — never cream — and ornament is structure: stepped medallions, paisley botehs, and geometric borders organize every surface around a dominant red ground.

阿塞拜疆库巴与希尔万的打结绒头地毯（1900年以前）建立在深茜草红羊毛地之上——这片饱和的打结底色承载着阶梯状菱形纹章、靛蓝佩斯利纹（boteh）与象牙白勾针边饰。每一种颜色都来自天然染料：茜草根红、靛蓝、未染象牙羊毛、木樨草金与森林绿，由深色勾边统合成型。

本设计系统将这种织造的密度转译到屏幕之上。页面本身即是那片深茜草地——绝非奶油色——纹饰即结构：阶梯纹章、佩斯利纹与几何边饰围绕主导的红色地面组织起每一处表面。象牙白与金色只作点睛，红色始终是那片打结的羊毛地。
