About Apollo Flight Plan
This is what a mission looked like before software: 10½ × 8 inch bond sheets, ring-bound, printed both sides, with a Ground Elapsed Time axis running down three hard-ruled columns. The Flight Planning Branch in Houston made it with typewriters, dry-transfer sheets and an X-Acto knife, which is why the body is monospaced and the headings sit stiff and slightly off-square.
Nothing here is decorative. NASA blue and red carry the meatball palette in use in 1969; everything else is paper, rule and strike. Crew hands wrote over the printed grid in ink — "TV ON", "Neil's first step" — a second layer, sparse, never the text itself.
