Aluminium Flight Case

The aluminium flight case is the road's exoskeleton: a brushed diamond-plate shell framed in powder-coated black edge profiles, sealed with butterfly latches and ball corners, packed with dense black foam. It is the touring and broadcast world of 1990–2010, where the case itself is the object — a riveted industrial skin built to survive trucks and tarmac.

This system translates that hardware into interface: charcoal anodized grounds, brushed-metal highlights, stencil sans type, and warning blue-and-red spec tags. Nothing decorative survives the road; every edge is rectilinear, every corner riveted, every label stenciled.
