Yemeni Socotra Dragon's Blood Tree

ProMax

Socotra Island sits 250 km off the Horn of Africa — the Galápagos of the Indian Ocean, where 37% of plant species grow nowhere else on Earth. The dragon's blood tree, *Dracaena cinnabari*, stands as the island's emblem: an inverted umbrella of dense crown that bleeds crimson resin prized since Roman antiquity. This design system lives under that canopy. Deep green page backgrounds evoke the filtered light beneath the dragon-tree dome, resin-red accents mark points of action, and frankincense amber warms the palette like Diksam plateau at dawn.
