About Vertical Farm Tower
Singapore imports more than ninety percent of what it eats, so it started growing food inside industrial units. Behind a roller shutter in Tuas sits a sealed room with no windows: eight tiers of hydroponic trays, white nutrient piping, and a linear LED bar above every tier.
The bars run deep red at 660nm and blue at 450nm. The eye adds them together and reads magenta. That is the whole visual: a near-black aisle, hard horizontal light, surfaces lit only at their edges, and machine-readable labels on every tray.
