Optic Yellow Tennis Ball

The optic-yellow tennis ball — adopted by the ITF in 1972 so the ball would read clearly on colour television — is a fuzzy fluoro yellow-green felt sphere wrapped by a single white curved seam. This system turns that object into an interface language: a vivid optic field that never goes white, a sweeping white seam as the signature line, and teal hard-court panels for contrast.

The voice is broadcast tennis: condensed all-caps scoreboard headlines, lower-third stat blocks, and clean graphic structure. Nothing is muted, glossy, or playful — the field stays electric, the felt stays fuzzy, and white is reserved for the seam.
