Shark Jaw & Dentition

Mid-century North American elasmobranch monographs documented shark jaws and tooth-replacement plates as cleaned, whitened specimens — serrated rows of bone-white teeth and fine dermal-denticle texture photographed against a dark slate study field. The register is forensic and strictly greyscale.

This design system distills that museum-specimen discipline: cool slate grounds, ivory dentition tones, hairline rule frames, plate numbers, and millimeter scale bars. The only "color" is the contrast between bone-white teeth and the cold study slate behind them.

二十世纪中叶的北美板鳃类专著，将鲨鱼颌骨与齿替换板作为经清理、漂白的标本来记录——锯齿状的骨白色齿列与精细的盾鳞肌理，被拍摄于深色板岩研究底面之上。整体气质冷峻、严谨，完全采用灰阶。

本设计系统提炼了这种博物馆标本的纪律感：冷板岩底色、象牙齿色、发丝级框线、标本编号与毫米比例尺。唯一的"色彩"，便是骨白色齿列与冷峻板岩底面之间的明暗对比——没有任何被引入的色相，如同一张制备标本图版。
