About Setu Leelo Silver
Seto leelo is sung, not stacked. The sõnolinõ speaks a verse line alone; the choir catches its last syllables and repeats the whole line over a held drone. Nothing arrives together, and nothing arrives twice the same way.
The costume works the same. Over white linen sits the suur sõlg — a circular silver breastplate two kilos heavy, punched in concentric rings, hung with coin chains. This system borrows both: linen ground, matte punched silver, one narrow band of Seto red, and layouts that lead then answer half a beat late.
