Pollen Micrograph

Pollen Micrograph borrows the visual grammar of the modern scanning electron microscope: a single spiky grain suspended in a pure-black vacuum void, its raw grayscale relief hand-painted with saturated false color. The classic reading is a golden-amber echinate sphere glowing against absolute black, ringed by a mono scale bar and clinical specimen IDs.

This is contemporary scientific art, not botanical illustration. Geometric lab sans carries the display voice; monospace handles captions, magnification, and measurement. Color is engineered, not natural — gray maps to gold to burnt orange across each micro-spine, and luminosity does all the work on a field of nothing.
