About Klein Blue (IKB)
International Klein Blue is the singular ultramarine pigment Yves Klein formulated in 1957 to dissolve the boundary between viewer and artwork. Suspended in clear binder to preserve its powdery brilliance, IKB became the entire content of monochromatic canvases — color experienced as pure presence.
As a design system, Klein Blue distills that radical conviction into interface: an overwhelming chromatic field, restrained classical typography in white, and vast negative space that turns every screen into a meditative encounter with saturated blue.
