IndieWeb / Personal Site is the hand-coded, content-first aesthetic of people who own their own corner of the web. Pages prioritize readability and ownership over platform chrome: a single comfortable reading column, near-black serif body text on a cool white ground, and plain, default-styled links in classic blue and purple.

Instead of cards, feeds, and SaaS UI, the structure comes from microformats — h-card, h-entry, h-feed — and from Webmentions that federate conversation across independent sites. The texture is whitespace and reading rhythm; the value is text you can actually read and a page you actually control.
