About Glassmorphism
Glassmorphism is the frosted-glass interface language popularized by macOS Big Sur and named in 2020 by designer Michał Malewicz. Its essence is translucency: panels of light-tinted glass, edged with thin luminous borders and heavy backdrop-blur, hover over a saturated gradient field.
The ground is deep violet — never cream, never white, never neutral black — because the glass needs something colorful behind it to blur. Vivid blobs of magenta and electric blue bleed through the frost, creating layered depth where every surface feels lit from within.
