The woven tapestries of Estonian textile artist Anu Raud are made from hand-spun, undyed wool of her own naturally-coloured Estonian sheep. The palette is muted and earthy — fleece grays, natural creams, dark brown-black, and warm madder browns — and the surface is populated by naive folk figures, rams, and trees arranged in banded horizontal registers.
This design system translates that hand-spun warmth into screen: a dark wool ground, irregular block-colour shapes, humanist serifs, and the unhurried rhythm of a loom. No gloss, no neon — only the quiet of natural fibre.
