English Afternoon Tea

ProMax

English Afternoon Tea draws on the genteel ritual Anna, Duchess of Bedford popularized in the 1840s: rose-patterned bone china, tiered cake stands, lace cloths, and copperplate menus in the drawing room. The palette is hand-painted Old-Rose china pink and burnished 22k gilt rims, glowing against the deep aged-rosewood of the tea table.

Every surface behaves like glazed porcelain edged in gold. High-contrast floral serifs carry the headings, EB Garamond keeps the body refined, and Pinyon Script signs the menu like an invitation. Ornament — scalloped lace, gilt lines, floral chintz sprays — is the point, never the exception.
