Dub Soundsystem

Dub Soundsystem draws on 1976 Kingston: Lee "Scratch" Perry's Black Ark studio, The Upsetters, and the deep echoing low-end of Super Ape. The ground is vinyl black, lit only by the Rastafari tricolor — green leading, gold and red behind. Surfaces feel pressed and stamped: concentric groove arcs, aged manila labels, rubber-stamp ink, and a fine halftone studio grain over everything.
