Dead Space Ishimura

ProMax

Dead Space (2008) built its horror not from jump-scare lighting but from a single sustained visual contrast: a pitch-black, blood-rusted industrial ship interior against the cold, clinical glow of Isaac Clarke's RIG suit. Every readout — health, ammo, stasis — lives diegetically in the 3D space, projected as aqua-cyan holograms with no HUD overlay to break immersion. The palette is a horror thesis in two temperatures: rust-orange and dried-blood red signal organic decay and danger, while sharp aqua-cyan signals technology, safety, and the last vestige of human order aboard the USG Ishimura. Nothing is ever paper-white or warm cream — the ship is always dying in the dark.
