Who writes these guides

Curio Editorial is the content and editorial team behind Curio, run by the independent studio VoltWake. The style library, this website, and every guide on it come from one place, and so does responsibility for them: if a guide is wrong, Editorial fixes it.

How a guide is made

• Editorial drafts the outline of each guide from that style's own DESIGN.md spec and worked example pages inside the Curio library — the same material the library ships to customers.
• Historical and cultural claims are traced back to first-hand references for the movement, brand, or tradition the style comes from.
• Working from that outline, the guide is written with AI assistance, then strictly proofread and rewritten by an editor before it is published.
• Exact design tokens — colour values, type sizes, font stacks — stay in the Pro spec package. The guides describe a style qualitatively, on purpose.
