Algerian M'zab Tilework

The M'zab valley is a pentapolis of fortified Ibadi ksour around Ghardaïa in the northern Algerian Sahara, built from pale-ochre, white and pink gypsum-plastered mud-brick cubes. Its signature ornament is a deep teal-cyan tin-glaze zellige — turquoise glazed mosaic tile set into warm earthen walls.

This design system distills that contrast into digital form: saturated robin's-egg-to-peacock turquoise tile fields blazing against sun-bleached Saharan mud-brick ground, with crisp tile-grout edges, cubic stacked massing, and angular Kufi inscription type. Never cream — the ground is always saturated ochre earth.

姆扎卜河谷是阿尔及利亚撒哈拉北部加尔达亚一带由五座伊巴德派要塞古堡（ksar）组成的城邦群，以淡赭、白与粉色石膏抹面的土坯方块垒砌而成。其标志性装饰，是嵌入暖色土墙的深青绿锡釉镶嵌瓷砖（zellige）——一片片绿松石般的釉面马赛克。

本设计系统将这种对比转译为数字语言：饱和的知更鸟蛋蓝到孔雀绿的绿松石瓷砖面，在被撒哈拉烈日漂白的土坯赭色底上灼然绽放，配以利落的瓷砖灰缝边线、立方堆叠的体块感，以及棱角分明的库法体碑铭字形。底色永不取奶白——大地永远是饱和的赭土色。
