Safavid Isfahan is the visual language of Shah Abbas I's capital around 1600, when contemporaries declared "Isfahan is half the world." It reads as a turquoise dome on a deep lapis field: a glazed turquoise-cyan against documented cobalt and ultramarine, laced with gold-leaf arabesque.
The system carries the refinement of Persian miniature painting and haft-rang tilework — fourfold garden symmetry, arched iwans, and tessellating arabesque. It is jewel-toned and dark throughout, never cream or gold-grounded: ornament earns its place against the deep blue field.
萨非伊斯法罕,是阿巴斯一世大帝约公元 1600 年都城的视觉语言。当年的人惊叹「伊斯法罕半天下」(Esfahān nesf-e jahān),皇家清真寺的绿松石圆顶高悬于深青金石蓝的天空之上。这套体系以一抹釉色绿松石青,落在记录中的钴蓝与群青底色之上,再以金箔阿拉伯藤蔓纹勾勒。
