Plum Blossom Ink (宋)

Ink-plum (墨梅) is a Song-dynasty literati tradition: plum blossoms drawn strictly in monochrome ink, their petals never coloured but reserved — left as the bare silk showing through thin outlines, while branches are graded washes in "ink's five tones." The surviving scrolls have aged to a warm tea-stained tan, never bright white. This system rebuilds that restraint as an interface: a single diagonal branch, vast empty ground, hairline dividers, and a calligraphic colophon column. Space carries as much weight as mark. Nothing is loud; everything breathes.

墨梅是宋代文人画的一脉：梅花全用水墨，花瓣不着色，而以「圈花法」勾出细线， 留出绢底的本色为花，枝干则是「墨分五色」的层层淡墨。传世的绢本经岁月浸染， 早已不是雪白，而是一片温润的茶褐色。这套设计把那份克制搬进界面——一枝斜出的 梅干、大片的留白、发丝般的墨线分隔，以及竖排的题跋钤印。空与笔同样要紧， 不喧不闹，自有呼吸。
