Hội An's design language is the glow of silk lanterns against lacquer-dark eaves at 9 pm on the 14th lunar day. It draws from four centuries of layered trade-port architecture — Japanese covered bridges, Chinese merchant halls, French ochre stucco — filtered through the 1990s lantern festival revival that turned the Hoài River into a floating light field.
The palette is warm and saturated: saffron yellow paper glow, vermilion painted shop signs, emerald moss on river stones, all grounded by the deep brown-black of lacquered timber beams. Typography honors Vietnamese diacritics with proper serif rendering.
