Ñandutí — Guaraní for "spider web" — is a radial needle-lace tradition born from the collision of Canarian Tenerife technique and Indigenous Guaraní cosmology in 17th-century Paraguay. Each circular medallion radiates outward like a sun, named for local flora and fauna.
This design system channels the Festival del Ñandutí altar aesthetic: deep rose-velvet ground, snow-white radial medallions, and Guaraní gold accents, evoking the church-feast displays of Itauguá's master lacemakers.
