Bidriware is a centuries-old metalcraft from Bidar in the Deccan, where a zinc-copper alloy is blackened to a deep matte patina with Bidar-Fort soil and ammonium chloride. Into that near-black ground, master karigars hammer threads of pure silver — fine Mughal-Persian floral scrollwork (Tarkashi) that resists the blackening and gleams against the dark.
This design system distills that craft into screen language: a deep matte-black ground, cool bright-silver line, and the unhurried elegance of inlaid arabesque — monochrome, high-contrast, and quietly luxurious.
