Indian hand-block printing is a centuries-old craft from Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh in which carved teak blocks are stamped onto cotton and silk using natural pigments — madder root, indigo, turmeric, and pomegranate rind. Every centimeter of cloth becomes pattern.
This system translates that pattern-maximalist sensibility into interface design: saffron, madder, and indigo grounds carry dense paisley and floral repeats, warm cream panels host decorative borders, and slight registration imperfection keeps everything hand-made rather than machine-perfect.
