Autumn Momiji 紅葉

Koyo (紅葉) is the centuries-old Japanese practice of watching maple leaves turn. Across Kyoto's temple gardens, Acer palmatum momiji ignites in a single simultaneous gradient — anthocyanin red bleeding into carotenoid orange and yellow — against weathered cedar timber and vermilion framing.

This system treats that gradient as the only ornament it needs. A deep chestnut ground holds vast quiet space; the leaf-fire enters sparingly, like a single branch framed in a temple window. Type is mincho serif throughout, phenological and seasonal in rhythm, never loud.

紅葉（こうよう）是日本延续千年的赏枫习俗。每到深秋，京都寺院庭园里的鸡爪槭便点燃成一道连续的渐变—— 花青素的红、类胡萝卜素的橙与黄，同时挂在一枝之上，映着年深日久的杉木与寺庙朱栏。

这套体系把这道渐变当作唯一需要的装饰。深栗色的底承住大片留白，枫火只在少处浮现，如同一截枝条恰好落进 寺窗。字体通体使用明朝体衬线，依物候般的节律展开，从不喧哗。
