The Pan-Arab illustrated weeklies of 1940s Cairo and Beirut — Al-Musawwar from Dar al-Hilal and the Amin brothers' Akher Saa — defined a glamorous photo-driven press aesthetic. Brick-red fields carried sepia halftone photo-montage portraits, ornate ruq'ah masthead lockups, and Art-Deco rule frames touched with gold.
This system distills that look into digital form: a saturated terracotta ground, calligraphic Arabic logotypes, Deco corner ornament, and the soft sepia grain of mid-century rotogravure printing.
