Omani Frankincense Souq Amber

ProMax

For three thousand years, the Boswellia sacra trees of Dhofar have yielded resin tears once valued at the price of gold. This design system channels the Mutrah Souq at dusk — amber glow from brass mabkhara burners, smoke-black corridor shadows, and deep emerald awnings framing arched doorways.

The palette is mineral and organic: warm amber-resin, aged brass, and souq emerald against charcoal darkness. Typography pairs Arabic calligraphic forms with Roman lapidary inscriptions, echoing the ancient trade routes that connected Salalah to Alexandria and Calicut.
