Japanese Tea Ceremony

Chado — the Way of Tea — is less a recipe than a discipline of attention. A guest kneels on rush-straw tatami, light falls soft through a shoji panel, and a single raku bowl of whisked matcha becomes the whole world for one hour. This system carries that ethic into the screen: muted earth greens, woven straw grounds, generous emptiness, and serif type that reads like an inked brushstroke. Nothing is loud, nothing is symmetrical, nothing is finished to a gloss.

茶道，日本人称「茶の湯」，是千利休在十六世纪以禅意收束而成的一门「待客即修行」的功夫。 它不追求华丽，而以「侘寂」立骨——以朴拙为美，以残缺为真，以留白为满。客人跪坐于草席（榻榻米）之上， 日光透过障子纸柔柔漫入，一只粗釉乐烧茶碗里的抹茶，便是当下的全部。这套设计把那份克制搬到屏幕上： 暗哑的抹茶绿、温润的稻草底色、刻意的非对称与大片呼吸般的空，配上像毛笔落墨般的明朝体衬线字。 不喧哗，不工整，不打磨到发亮。
