Notes de DégustationI.

Rubis profond, bordé d’une nuance prune.

A wine read by candlelight — pressed from a single walled parcel on a south-facing slope of fossil limestone, where the chalk of ancient oyster beds gives the fruit its flinty spine.

The nose opens with morello cherry and dried violet; the palate carries forest floor, struck flint, and a long, granular finish of crushed marl and aged oak.
