Shango's red does not negotiate.
The thunder-axe carries one chromatic command — saturated, blood-warm, paired only with white. Dilute it and the orisha leaves the room.
Yemoja's blue moves like water moves.
Seven indigo strands and one white bead — the elekes count the tide. The shrine cloth ripples; the colour never settles into background.
Oshun's gold is honey, not luxury.
Brass beadwork warms the dark wood without flattering it. Read it as sweetness, river-light, the small gift placed on the tray — never as wealth display.
The dark ground is also a colour.
Indigo-dyed wood and shrine green are not "background." They are the held breath the beadwork sings against — present, named, never neutral.
