The quiet power of one
good guess
A five-letter ritual makes a little space for attention before the day gets loud.
Each morning, the board arrives almost empty: thirty white squares, six chances, and a keyboard that remembers what you have tried. The restraint is the invitation. With nowhere else to look, the mind settles on the letters.
Make the guess earn its place
The best guess is not always the cleverest one. It is the word you can stand behind, entered at 7:12 before the kettle boils. Green gives certainty, yellow keeps a question open, and gray clears a little noise from the day.
