The Art of the Cask

1
Char is architecture, not accident
The #4 alligator char creates an inner scaffolding of activated carbon — three millimetres deep, a century proven.
2
Time writes what the flame begins
Twelve years in dunnage, the spirit draws vanilla, clove, and dried fig from seasoned heartwood.
3
Copper purifies what oak deepens
The pot-still strips sulphur compounds; the cask returns the warmth the flame took away.
4
Every cask carries a craftsman's name
Each stave is hand-selected, air-dried five summers, and raised by a cooper whose mark goes on the head.
