Cinnabar, azurite, malachite and orpiment are laid on matte mineral red, never on flat modern wash.

Fine gilded detail traces the aureole and throne — burnished by hand, never printed in gradient.

Cards are painted in matched sets so the disciple moves through one deity, then the next, in sequence.
