Proposition 02 Four notes on continuity

What the grid does when it refuses to end.

01

It flattens hierarchy by refusing a center.

No façade, no entrance, no preferred elevation. The same square repeats until the question of importance dissolves into geometry.

Axiom · plate icool / silent
02

It absorbs landscape without negotiating with it.

Mountain, coastline, Manhattan — the grid passes through each at the same hairline weight, untouched, unromantic, indifferent.

Axiom · plate iiisometric / deadpan
03

It measures time in modules, not events.

One cell equals one decision; a thousand cells equals a century of decisions that all look exactly alike. Continuity replaces narrative.

Axiom · plate iiirepetition / module
04

It is a question pretending to be a building.

The monument is too uniform to be useful and too vast to be ignored. Its only function is to keep asking what architecture is for.

Axiom · plate ivutopia / refusal
