Let the sky do the editorial work.

Three quarters cream-grey horizon, one quarter ground. The sky is the headline; the machine is a footnote humming at the tree-line.

Layout · 3:1 horizon rule

Keep one warning flare, and one only.

A single saturated-orange lamp on the silo, on the panel, in the rust. Two is a colour scheme; one is a signal — the rest of the painting must stay quiet to hear it.

Accent · use sparingly

End every scene with silence, not spectacle.

No explosions, no triumphal poses. A child looks up, a dog turns its head, the field keeps freezing. The reader supplies the meaning we left unpainted.
