Erlanger's cobalt is ground by hand from the same five pigments the village has used since the 1920s — no two batches photograph alike.

Lime-white appears only where salt and sea demand it — on plaster, on type, never as a second voice competing with the cobalt.

Every grille, stud and arch is forged to the door's geometry first — ornament reads as structure, not as decoration applied late.

Sea air leaves the paint blotched and grained — we restore the texture exactly, because a flat digital cyan would betray the cliff.
