Chapter Two

What the desert teaches

Patience shapes the form The Namib's tallest dunes took twelve million years to reach their height. We give every project the time it demands.
Light reveals structure A single ridge-line separates shadow from gold. Every design decision is a choice about where light falls.
Warmth over neutrality Hematite-stained quartz, never gray. Every surface carries the temperature of its origin.
Space is the message The emptiest horizon holds the most meaning. We design what we leave out as deliberately as what remains.
