Studio principles — built in Corten plate

Steel that finishes itself

The patina is the final coat
No paint, no sealant — the plate oxidises for thirty months until the rust seals itself, then stops. Maintenance budget after that: none.
We build the void first
The dark interior is designed before the wall. Light enters through cut slots, never windows — the room is a shadow you walk into.
One material, inside and out
Facade, structure, furniture, screen — all the same 8mm plate. The detail count drops; the building reads as a single folded mass.
Colour earned from the site, not a swatch
Olot rain, Rodez stone-dust, coastal salt — each context drives the rust to its own charcoal. The palette is local by definition.
