Legibility Is Optional, Voice Isn't.
If a headline can be read at a glance without stopping the reader — we set it three sizes bigger and let it flood the photograph. Words fight the picture. That's the point.

Feed The Copier Until Something Breaks.
Every deck runs through a photocopier four times, minimum. Whatever comes out — abraded serifs, ink-flood, dropped counters — that is the master. The clean file is the b-side.

Set An Interview In Dingbats When The Subject Bores You.
Ferry, 1994. Nine hundred words, all Zapf Dingbats. Readers screamed. Sales tripled. Contempt of copy is a design decision — used sparingly, and never toward the reader.
