Chapter Two / Reading the Sequence
Lungta Field Guide    04 / 12
Blue · White · Red · Green · Yellow — never reordered

Five colors, one fixed order

01

Sky leads, always blue

The first flag is sky — it opens every string and sets the cardinal direction the wind reads from.

02

White carries the air

Sun-bleached cotton, not pure white — weathered to bone over a season of passes and prayer.

03

Red is the fire element

The center of the string — woodblock-printed in madder, the warmest mark against the slate ground.

04

Green then yellow close it

Water and earth end the cycle — green for the rivers below, yellow grounding the string to the soil.
