ວິທີການ — How the gold is laid
Four Steps to the Gilt
1
The ground must be true oxblood
Seven coats of lacquer cut with cinnabar, each rubbed back, before a single leaf is laid.
2
Cut the naga from oiled paper
The serpent and dok-flame stencils are hand-pierced so each repeat sits a hair's breadth from the last.
3
Size it, then breathe on the leaf
Gold leaf takes only where the adhesive has gone tacky — patience decides where the light will catch.
4
Burnish until it lies flat, not bright
We keep the gold leafed and matte against the red — no chrome shine, the way the sim columns have aged.
