a City Feel Its Future
In Almaty, a daily commute became a sequence of vaulted rooms, gold lines, and blue light.
When the first trains ran in 2011, the city gained more than a faster route beneath the streets. It gained a sequence of rooms where blue tile, brass light, and stone made a daily journey feel deliberate.
A civic language, not a backdrop
At Baikonur, cool colour turns the vault into a horizon. At Zhibek Zholy, four ceramic panels hold the Silk Road as structure: repeated fields, disciplined borders, and a palette that rewards the slow glance.
