The first rule of a secure room is not to fill it. In November 1962, a field notebook from Port Azure reached our desk with three times more pages than facts. We cut it to one page: names, a time, a door.

That edit changed the operation. At 06:40, the courier arrived early and found no one waiting; by 06:47, the right envelope was in the right coat. The plan worked because every gesture had room to be read before the next one began.
