Milk labels must be sharper

A cool white ground and a hard black edge can still do what soft heritage packaging keeps forgetting.

In Rotterdam last March, three neighborhood dairies asked for cartons that could stand across a fogged shop window. We removed the pastoral sketch, kept the cool hide ground, and let hard black islands carry the promise: cold, dated, handled cleanly.

Patchwork becomes a promise

The lesson was not nostalgia. A piebald system works because every mark has an edge: batch labels, delivery cards, and shelf tags can be read at six steps before anyone reaches the case.
