FIELD REPORT / SYSTEMS 01
THE MAP WAS NEVER THE POINT
The first storm turned every wall, ramp, and reckless shortcut into a shared language for getting somewhere alive.
I remember the first match as a series of bad decisions made at full speed. We dropped east of the bus route, found two blueprints, and built upward before we knew what the storm was asking. The map felt less like a battlefield than a dare: move, improvise, leave a little evidence behind.
BUILDING MADE THE CHAOS LEGIBLE
That is why the strongest moments still happen between the landmarks. A rough ramp changes the skyline; a boxed-in doorway buys three seconds; a bright trail of loot turns strangers into a temporary squad. Every piece is readable at a glance, then surprising in motion.
